About Laura 

Laura and her husband Tom will now serve their clients in Montgomery and Howard Counties, putting their extensive knowledge of both counties to work. 

Laura grew up on Dellwood Avenue in Allview Estates, right in the heart of Howard County.  She is a product of Maryland’s higher education system, graduating from Atholton High School and obtaining a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). 

Shortly after graduating from college, she taught herself computer programming.  During the 1980s she rose up the corporate ladder in Information Technology.  Laura’s technology career culminated with the founding, building, and selling of a website development company that she and Tom ran from their Poolesville office for 5 years.  Since then, she’s been focused on real estate sales. 

Laura says “I’ve always been interested in real estate, but being able to help people realize their dreams really hit a chord with me. This is what I was meant to do, and I love every day!” 

Laura was one of the top producing agents in the State of Maryland in 2009.  Her combination of personal touch and high tech, combined with a passion for exemplary customer service, is a proven winning combination.  She’s ready to help you achieve your real estate dreams!

Howard and Montgomery Counties have always been home for me. My dad, Robert H. Kittleman, worked tirelessly to make this state he loved even better. When we were kids, his involvement in the civil rights movement really inspired me and showed me firsthand about passion and commitment to others. 

My father had a passion for public life and wanted to give back to the community.  After knocking on thousands of doors, he was elected to the House of Delegates and then to the Maryland Senate.   I’m so happy to have lived in this great state my entire life, and I share his love of Maryland.

About Tom

Tom graduated from Virginia Tech with a BA in economics.  He worked at the FDIC for over 7 years as a financial analyst during the aftermath of the savings & loan crisis.

In 1995, Tom co-founded a web-based software development company with Laura.  They grew the company for eight years, eventually selling to a publicly traded company in 2003.

Tom’s background in economics and financial analysis, as well as his entrepreneurial experience, is a natural fit in the world of real estate.  He works exclusively with buyers, and is proud of his reputation for excellent service.
